SANS1507-4 Standard PVC Insulated LV Power Cable
Application
For fixed installation of the transmission and distribution systems, tunnels and pipelines and other occasions.
For situation not supposed to bear external mechanical force.
Direct burial in free-draining soil conditions for fixed indoor and outdoor installations.
SWA armour and stable water resistant jacket makes them suitable for use inside and outside buildings or for direct burial in the ground.
Construction
Conductor: class 1 solid , class 2 stranded copper conductor or aluminium conductor
Insulation: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
Armour method: Unarmored or Steel Wire Armour (SWA), Steel Tape Armour (STA), Aluminium Wire Armour (AWA), Aluminium Tape Armour (ATA), Steel Wire Armour+Tinned copper wire (SWA+ECC)
Sheath: Polyvinyl Chloride PVC
