NXJ series wedge-type insulation tension clamp

NXJ series is suitable for the terminals or both ends of the tension section of overhead insulated aluminum core wires (JKLYJ) of 10kV and below, together with the insulator string, to fix and tighten the overhead insulated wires. The products are equipped with different plastic wedge cores according to the wire specifications.

    Structural features

    1.The shell is made of oxidation-resistant high-strength aluminum alloy casting, without power loss.

    2.The wedge core is made of insulating reinforced plastic, with a power frequency withstand voltage of ≥18kV, ensuring no breakdown for 1 minute.

    3.The cable can be installed directly without stripping the insulation layer.

    4.The wedge-shaped structure is simple and reliable to install.

    Installation method

    1.Before installation, please check whether the mark matches the wire to be installed.

    2.After confirmation, connect the pull rod to the connection fittings, and the connection fittings to the insulators, with the main body opening as downward as possible.

    3.Use the tensioner to reel in the wire to the appropriate position, place the insulated wire in the body cavity, and then put in the insulating wedge core, while keeping the two wedge cores flush.

    4.Knock the end of the insulating wedge core for pre-tightening. When knocking, do not knock the side of the wedge core and the insulation layer of the wire, and ensure that the two wedge cores are flush after knocking. Then remove the tensioner and adjust the nut to meet the engineering requirements.

    5.To ensure that the tension clamp does not pull the core after tightening the wire, it is recommended to reserve a wire length of at least 1 meter on the jumper side at the end of the wedge core.
