The Advantages of Armoured Cables

Armoured cables have become an increasingly common method of electrical wiring in the international market. This is due to their effectiveness in protecting wires and cables from damage caused by rodents, moisture, and other environmental factors that may cause a short circuit in the system.

There are four types of armoured cables in Tinde Power cable factory: Steel Tape Armored (STA) , Fine Steel Wire Armored (SWA), Thick Steel Wire Armored, Aluminum Wire Armored (AWA).

The purpose of the cables with armor layer could enhance the tensile strength, compressive strength and other mechanical protection to extend the service life of the cables. Armored cables can increase the mechanical strength of the cable, improve the corrosion resistance, so that the cable is not subject to mechanical damage and erosion.

Armoured cable should be used when a level of mechanical protection is required. It is always used for underground cables through ducts.
