IEC/BS Standard PVC Insulated LV Power Cable

With the characteristics of stable capability, advanced technology, comprehensive material sources, low price, strong adaptability to the environment, good flexibility and easy to be laid and maintained, the PVC insulated power cables are used in fixed laying on transmission and distribution electrical lines with A. C. 50Hz and rated voltage up to 6kV.

    Application

    PVC Insulated Cable is used as power distribution and transmission line at rated voltage 0.6/1KV.

    Like power networks, underground, outdoor and indoor applications and within cable ducting.

    Construction

    Conductor: Class 2 stranded copper conductor or aluminium conductor

    ETP0E3Nykl

    Number of cable cores:one core(sing core),two cores(double cores),three cores, four cores (four equal-section-area cores of three equal-section-area and one smaller section area neutral core),five cores (five equal-section-area cores or three equal-section-area cores and two small area neutral cores).

    Insulation: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

    Armour method: Unarmored or Steel Wire Armour (SWA), Steel Tape Armour (STA), Aluminium Wire Armour (AWA), Aluminium Tape Armour (ATA).

    Sheath: Polyvinyl chloride PVC.

    Performance characteristics

    1. The long-term permissible operation temperature of conductor shall not be higher than 70℃.2. Conductor maximum short circuit(not more than 5 seconds)temperature shall not be higher than 160℃.3. The cables is not limited by drop in level when being laid,and the environment temperature shall not be 0℃.4. Perfect chemical stability,resistant against acids, alkalis,grease and organic solvents,and flame retardance.5. Light weight, perfect bending properties, installed and maintained easily and conveniently.6. Voltage rating: 600/1000 Volts7. Temperature rating: Fixed -25°C to +90°C
