ASTM/ICEA-S-95-658 Standard Copper Concentric Cable

Copper concentric cable is composed of one or two solid center conductors or soft copper stranded, using PVC or XLPE insulation, the outer conductor is composed of several soft copper wires stranded synthesis spiral, black outer sheath which can be made of PVC, thermoplastic polyethylene or XLPE.

    Application

    Concentric cables are commonly used by distribution network operators to connect the grid and towers to a person's home or business. Suitable for direct burial, they are also used in high-rise towers and street lighting systems.

    It is used to connect the overhead network and installed between the secondary overhead distribution network and each user's meter. It is usually used to prevent electricity theft.

    Operating Temperature: 75°C or 90°C.
